FLEXITEC FLOORING:

• Flexitec flooring has a unique structural composition allowing you to select a floor type that will

match your personal performance. Flexitec has a highly resilent fiberglass base, double encapsulated

pvx layers. Your floor has a revoutionary construction, it has unmatched dimensional stabliity elimiating

conventional problems of contraction, expansion, and curling or cracking. It's easy to install and has

higher durability it will resist scuffs, and scrapes. The pvc gives the flooring a higher underfoot comfort

and unparalleled flexibility

• What makes Flexitec unique is its comfort foam cushioned vinyl backing. This backing reduces

impact noise and sound transmission while guaranteeing unmatched underfoot comfort. It also

provides superior resistance to mold and mildew. The fiberglass layer combines strength with

flexibility for easy and trouble-free installation. The inter-layer offers a unique dimensional stability,

this means it will not expand, contract, or curl. The cushioned vinly foam layer is on the fiberglass

layer it allows additional indentation recovery thanks to its resilent nature.

• The actual wearlayer determines the wear performance of your floor. The higher the wear-

layer the more durable the floor. The wearlayer will give your floor the protection and the resistance

against wear dents, cuts and scratches, while retaining its lasting finish.

• The Super Guard finish offers you even better production. This advanced, urethane-layer

resists scuffs, scrapes and stains , the accumulation of dirt and grime. This will allow your floor

to retain its new look and ensure and easy cleaning and maintence.

INSTALLATION: DO

• Always store or transport Flexitec on a core if material is more than six feet in length

if six feet or under, roll the short way.

• Inspect to make sure there are no defects before starting installation.
• Always make sure the sub floors are clean, firm and level.
• Acclimate flooring to the installation environment for a least 6 hours before installing.
• Temperature of sub floor should be at least 65 degrees F.
• Use the correct type of installation for the location, and size,and the intended usage.
• In loose lay or semi loose installations, leave 1/8" space between walls and flooring edges.
• For areas of extreme climate change, leave up to 1/4" space.
• In a semi-loose lay application piece double face tape or pressure sensitive adhesive on two
• adjoining walls.

• In an area where heavy appliances will be located apply a double face tape in form of an x

under the vinyl.

Use only the pressure sensitive adhesive and the seam sealer recommended for Flexitec.

• Run seams parallel to, not across, major traffic areas whenever possible.
• Protect all seams for at least 8 hours.
• Use a permanent flexible silcone chalk next to showers, bathtubs, sliding doors and in

similar areas to prevent moisture from getting under the vinyl.

• In full spread applications, always roll the vinyl in four directions with a roller not to

exceed 100 pounds.

INSTALLATION DON'T

• Do not install Flexitec over a wet substrate as it will trap moisture.
• Do not use the loose lay installation method for floors of over 25 square

yards(225 square feet) or when seams are necessary.

• Never overlap double face tape.
• In loose lay applications, never permanently attach the flooring at any point (such

as heat registers).

• Do not use the loose lay method if the floor receives heavy or rolling traffic.(such as

microwave carts or portable dishwashers.

• In loose lay and semi loose lay installations, do not let the Flexitec touch the wall

or corners at any point or bubbles may occur.

• Never slide heavy objects or appliances across the face of the vinyl . Use professional

moving guides or lift and carry the objects.

• Never locate a seam perpendicular to a doorway or entrance.
• Never use standard mulit purpose vinyl adhesives to install Flexitec. If the adhesive is

to wet it will never dry and bubbles may occur.

• Use only recommended cleaners or mild detergents. Do not use abrasive cleaners.
• Never wax Flexitec. It is not necessary. Wax and solvents may leave a film that will

dull the surface.
